MY STORY

Behavior is the business. Everything else is decoration.

Hi, I’m Nnanke — and I’ve spent my entire career trying to understand one thing: why people do what they do at work,and what we can design to change it.

My earliest lesson came from a biscuit factory. As a Quality Assurance Officer, I discovered that the biggest threat to product quality wasn’t the machines or the processes — it was human behavior. Employees were using company resources to prepare meals during work hours. The problem looked like dishonesty. The root cause was hunger. When we addressed the root cause and rotated the key influencers, quality was restored. That experience shaped everything: behaviour is always a response to an environment. Change the environment, and behaviour follows.

Then there is a more personal story. I lost my father at ten years old. We went, almost overnight, from a life of stability to one of starting over. Years later, working across owner-led businesses in Nigeria, I kept recognising the same pattern — brilliant, passionate founders building something remarkable, yet unable to transfer the most critical parts of themselves into their organisations: their convictions, their values, their way of seeing the world. When they stepped back, their businesses drifted. They conformed to whatever came next. It became deeply personal. My work became a mission to help African leaders build organisations that carry their DNA, not just their logo.

Today, I run two companies. Employee Matchmaker is a Recruitment and Employability firm — we help organisations find the right people and help individuals land the right opportunities. SiSa is Africa’s premier HR Management and Culture Consulting firm — we help organisations design the people architecture that culture sits on: the systems, the leadership, the behaviors, and the beliefs that make strategy actually work.

Over the years, I have worked with 30+ organisations and over 150 professionals. I have written resumes that tell real stories, rebuilt Linkedin profiles that open real doors, and designed HR architectures built for the African reality — not imported Western frameworks that don’t fit. My work spans behavioural, economics, culture integration, leadership formation, and people strategy
